Ferrari at the 2018 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance
Over the years, the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance has become a staple of the high-end auto show community on the East Coast. Popular among auto enthusiasts and car collectors, the 2018 Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance had a spectacular display of collector cars, with many Ferrari models taking center stage.
1963 Ferrari 250/275P
The title for the Best in Show Concours d’Sport award went to an eye-catching 1963 Ferrari 250/275P. This model was built to compete in the Wolrd Prototype Championship in 1963. It was originally outfitted with a mid-mounted 3.0-liter V12 engine and was the winner at the 1963 ADAC Nurburging 1000 Kilometer race and won the 1964 12 Hours of Sebring.
The model has since been outfitted with an upgraded 3.3-liter V12 engine.
