Only one thing is more thrilling than joining a race and experiencing the excitement of competing out on the track, winning. Second is great, but a manufacturer like Ferrari isn’t satisfied until they’re on the top step of the podium. Curious to know more about what happened at the race? Take a look below and we’ll fill you in on all the hot details.
Scuderia Ferrari For the Win
Even though it’s not number one, the Ferrari drivers should be filled with nothing but pride for their thrilling performance at the 6 Hours of Monza race. Ferrari claimed its fifth podium out of five FIA World Endurance Championship races with second place for the 499P number 50 driven by Antonio Fuoco, Nicklas Nielsen, and Miguel Molina. Not only that but surprisingly, number 51 Ferrari of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado, and Antonio Giovinazzi finished fifth after making a comeback after a collision at the start of the race.
It was a miraculous sight to see over 65,000 fans cheering on their favorite drivers over the course of the weekend and coloring the stands in an unmistakable, supportive red. With another podium win in the books for the Ferrari team after their win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, onlookers are excited to see where the road takes our Ferrari drivers. What great things can we expect from the Ferrari 499P next?
